Halloween is coming and you want to dress as one of the crew of Star Trek, look no further, and see what Star Trek Outfits we have to offer. For my halloween costume I’m gonna be a scary doll. I have red stiletto heels but i’m not sure which dress to wear. I have a choice between two:

A black draped dress
or
A wispy red empire dress

Which would look best with red stilettos, red lipstick and black eyes?

I have a sewing pattern for a Star Trek halloween costume… (I don’t like any of the official star trek stuff because they never fit well)….and I have the fabric and everything…I just need someone to sew it because I’m shit at it. Do I take it to a tailor shop? I live in Los Angeles area….does anybody know of any good ones?
I ordered the sewing pattern and will have it shortly. I just know I won’t be able to do it myself and I don’t know who to take it to. I don’t care about the cost.

Tailoring normally refers to clothes that have a lot of internal structure. None of the Star Trek uniforms I’ve seen are things I’d describe as tailored — I’d be looking for a dressmaker, who will be more used to dealing with the knits and crepes of the original uniforms. Check the phone book and ask at fabric stores. Don’t be surprised if the person you hire tells you that the fabric you bought is wrong for the pattern and you need something different.

Do you have patterns already, or do you need custom patterns? Most of the uniforms are pretty basic.
